Stijn holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and has recently diversified his interests to the management of large sets of data files in scientific fields such as Astrophysics.  He is the developer, maintainer, and manager of multiple large software systems, with one having been successfully commercialised and a second one in the process of being deployed for disseminating MINERVA-Australis data files.
