I am a seasoned IT professional who gathered more than twenty years of experience in a variety of IT domains such as Software Engineering, Systems Administration (Linux, Windows), Database design, Networking and Cybersecurity.

Passionate with Astronomy since childhood, I joined the USQ Center for Astrophysics in 2017 as Systems Architect for the MINERVA-Australis telescope array facility. Working closely with Dr Duncan Wright, I designed, developed and still maintain the observatory’s robotic automation system.
I have a strong interest for anything involving automation, sensors, microcontrollers (commonly known as Internet Of Things), Machine Learning, Virtual Reality and Blockchain.
Always happy to share my knowledge and expertise, providing technical advice, I love to fill my time with different challenging and interesting projects, and meeting new people!
  • Maintenance of the MINERVA-Australis telescope array’s automation system and IT infrastructure
  • Automation Systems
  • Instrumentation
